Percheron Cross

Larry is a beautiful 6-year-old Percheron cross (¾ Percheron ¼ Quarter horse) standing 16.3 hands. His sire was a Percheron and his dam was a Percheron/Quarter Horse Cross. He was born on a local farm here in Ohio where he was used on some farm equipment and with a single garden cultivator.

He has been on our farm for the past year where he has been used to haul people on wagons and as a riding horse.  Larry is very good with other horses and goes well on trails and through water. He has been used some to help move colts and doesn’t get excited.

This is a very athletic horse for his size. He has been ridden on trails, after dark, and in heavy traffic.
